During the two decades following the end of WWI, the French indulged themselves in the gaiety of the Roaring 20’s rather than the discipline of maintaining a strong army and keeping pace with technological advances in warmaking.
Like all of Europe, the French became lazy of mind. They were willfully blind to Germany rebuilding her war industry, army, navy, and making advances in military machinery and technology. The French assumption of sufficiency cultivated a false sense of safety.
No wonder then, in six weeks time, France was overrun by Germany in the spring of 1940.
The consequences were severe. The French had to pay the cost of 300,000 occupying German troops. Eighty percent of food production was seized, resulting in long lines for meager rations based upon a 1,300 calorie per day diet.
There was censorship, and media was used to tell the French the new ways they were to live. There was forced labor, loss of free speech, and severe restrictions on religion. Children were indoctrinated and forced to sing pro-Hitler songs.
Even then, the French were not willing to fight back. At most three in every 1,000 volunteered for the French Resistance. All the rest were glad someone else was resisting the Germans.
In the last 40 years the Republican party has become like the French. Asleep at the wheel, the GOP allowed the left to build a huge illicit funding machine, huge illicit voting machine, and an education system that has indoctrinated three generations of radical activists.
Like the French, 99.7% of Republicans maintain willful blindness, are self-absorbed, and are unwilling to do anything to resist the destruction of America. They are, however, glad someone else is resisting the left.
In Nevada, the bodies of children are being mutilated by “trans” surgery and drugs. Illegal aliens drive up rents and take jobs from Nevada citizens, and they overburden hospital emergency rooms because there they can get taxpayer funded, free medical care. Our Attorney General has participated in more than 40 lawsuits meant to harm President Trump and the MAGA Republican party.
Like the French in WWII, few Republicans in Nevada willing to give money, perform labor, or otherwise resist the left.
How is it that in one Nevada county, all but one board member of the county Republican Central Committee are not donors to their own RCC? If local Republican leaders won’t give money, how can they ask their committee members to do so?
- Without money, how can they fight?
- How can they mail Republican voter guides to all Republican voters in their county?
- How can they do targeted mailing to recruit new members?
- How can they pay young social media influencers to reach the next generation of conservatives?
Don’t be like the French before and during WWII. Instead, be like the French Resistance. Else, we face our own blitzkrieg, soon enough.
There are two things you can do right now, today, to become a GOP warrior:
- Give 1% of your monthly income to your local RCC.
- Regularly call your county RCC and ask what you can do to help.
