Citizen Outreach Announces First-Ever Kids Happy Hour & Deck Party

Citizen Outreach Announces First-Ever Kids Happy Hour & Deck Party
N&V Staff
October 15, 2009

(Chuck Muth) – Our First Friday Happy Hour Brew-ha-ha’s have been so big and so successful that everyone now wants to get in on the act, including my kids.

And the more I thought about it, the more it occurred to me that an awful lot of conservative and libertarian parents with young kids simply can’t make it to First Fridays for a lot of reasons having to do with weekend activities, baby-sitters, etc.

So moms and dads, boys and girls, libertarians and conservatives of all ages, mark your calendars right now for the first-ever Citizen Outreach “Kids Happy Hour & Deck Party” at Joe’s Crab Shack in Green Valley on Tuesday, November 10th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.

Why Joe’s Crab Shack?

Well, for one their food is a heck of a lot better than Mickey D’s or Chuckie Cheese. And Tuesday nights are Kids Nights at Joe’s – so kids get $2 dinners (with paid adult entree). You don’t HAVE to feed the kids there, but for two bucks, why not?

Secondly, moms and dads of adult beverage drinking age will get domestic draft beers at the Happy Hour bargain price of just a $1.25 per pint, well drinks for only $2, and frozen margaritas for just $3.

Talk about a CHEAP DATE!

But probably most importantly, we’ll be getting together on Joe’s outdoor deck where you can watch your kids playing in their enclosed, sand-covered playground while discussing the relative merits of the Reid/Obama government-option in the health care bill or state Sen. Bill Raggio’s new secret plan to make this year’s tax hikes permanent.

Joe’s outdoor deck seats about 120 people max – so we need you to RSVP in order to let Joe’s know how much space to rope off for our group.

Of course, if we get more than 120 people – including the kiddies – we might have to take over the ENTIRE RESTAURANT – inside and out – for a couple hours. Somehow I don’t think general manager Dan Tanner (is that a great Vegas name or what?) will mind.

Anyway, this will be a great, casual get-together for conservative moms and dads who have had it up to HERE with Happy Meals and $50 pizzas (after all the quarters in the game machines!).

There will be no political speeches, but we are planning to hire a clown.

No, not Nathan Taylor.

A real clown. With balloon animals and everything!

So don’t delay – RSVP today. And join us for our first-ever “Kids Happy Hour & Deck Party” at Joe’s Crab Shack next month. Shoot an email to Karri Bragg at karri@citizenoutreach.com or call (702) 481-0674. Cheers!
