Governor Joe Lombardo has officially opted Nevada into the federal school choice tax credit program created by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
This decision positions Nevada to participate in a new federal tax credit initiative that will expand educational options for families across the state. Details from federal and state authorities are still being released, and we will share updates as they become available.
To help you understand this historic development and make use of it, Nevada Policy has launched the Federal School Choice Tax Credit Resource Kit — a comprehensive guide designed to be your one-stop resource for this new program.
The goal of this resource kit is to support every stakeholder involved, including:

- Donors, so you understand how the federal tax credit functions and how contributions make an impact
