(Katie Hopkins, MailOnline) – Out of the ten finalists for Miss USA 2017, seven were women of colour’ yelled the feminist writers at Bustle, ‘…and that is a huge achievement.’
No offence to the diversity champions, sat brushing their underarm hair and wondering how to make their tofu look less like bathroom sealant on Instagram.
But these glorious women are much more than their colour. Amongst their number are a national ballet supremo, a nuclear scientist, and a paediatric nurse. And THAT is just part of their huge achievement in life.
Plus they all look fabulous in a sequins and a sash. Which, as Caitlyn Jenner demonstrates, is not an easy look to pull off.
The feminazis were jubilant. Never in the field of human swimwear modelling were so many represented so much by so few. Their ultimate vagenda – to demonstrate men are surplus to requirements – was nearly fulfilled.
But wait! What horror was this? Miss District of Columbia, celebrated moments earlier as a triumph of diversity, was veering wildly off-script.
