Keystone Corporation Welcomes Randi Thompson to Board of Directors

Keystone Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Randi Thompson to its Board of Directors.

Thompson brings decades of experience in public affairs, government relations, and strategic communications, along with a long-standing record of leadership in Nevada.

A Public and Government Relations Consultant, Thompson has been active in Nevada politics since 1978.

She has managed political campaigns from city council to statewide offices and has also been a candidate for the Nevada Legislature.

She previously served as Vice Chair of the Washoe County Republican Party from 1995–1996 and currently serves as President of the Republican Women of Northern Nevada PAC and PAC Manager for the Nevada Firearms Coalition.

Thompson has more than 30 years of experience as a lobbyist at the Nevada Legislature and an additional 10 years lobbying Congress in Washington, D.C.

She has also built a successful career in public relations, helping small businesses grow and increasing the visibility of nonprofit organizations.

She has been a co-host of Nevada Newsmakers since 2005 and was a guest columnist for the Reno Gazette Journal for eight years.

She previously served as State Director for the National Federation of Independent Business for 12 years, acting as the organization’s chief lobbyist in Nevada, serving as a statewide spokesperson, managing the organization’s PAC, and overseeing fundraising and candidate vetting efforts.

A native Nevadan, Thompson graduated from Reno High School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Oregon. She is married to Steve Trollope, and together they own a prenatal ultrasound imaging studio in Reno.
