Petition Circulates To Keep Light Bulbs Burning Brightly

Petition Circulates To Keep Light Bulbs Burning Brightly

NN&V Exclusive

(NN&V Staff) – A new petition, begun by Eagle Forum, is circulating to save the traditional incandescent light bulb. In 2009, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid focused on getting Congress to pass the Cap and Trade bills (American Clean Energy and Security Act H.R. 2454 (Waxman-Markey), and the Kerry-Lieberman American Power Act).

Cap and Trade quickly became known as Cap and Tax, and now the bills are about to be enacted—January 1, 2012 is the deadline. These bills that promote “efficiency standards” should be repealed, and the petition is one way to let our federal legislators know how we feel.

Click here to sign the petition urging Congress to repeal the ban and allow us to keep our light bulbs!

Let Congress knows that their constituents want them to fight to repeal the ban before it’s too late.

Take today’s poll: If the election were held today, who would you vote for in a Republican Presidential Primary?
