Poll puts Tarkanian ahead of Rosen in the 3rd Congressional District race

(Ben Botkin, Las Vegas Review-Journal) Republican Danny Tarkanian has a 12-point lead over Democratic opponent Jacky Rosen in the 3rd Congressional District race, according to a poll The Tarrance Group conducted for his campaign.

The poll of 412 registered voters in the district found that 46 percent of voters favored Tarkanian, while 34 percent favored Rosen. The poll also included two third-party candidates, who both polled at below 5 percent.

The Tarrance Group, of Alexandria, Virginia, is Republican survey research and strategy group.

The poll also found Tarkanian has 81 percent support among Republican voters, while Rosen has 68 percent support among Democratic voters. The poll also found that 55 percent of Democratic voters had never heard of her yet.
