(NPRI) – Stephen Moore, an editorial board member of the Wall Street Journal and the founder and former president of the Club for Growth, will deliver the keynote address at the Nevada Policy Research Institute’s 20th Anniversary Celebration. The event will be held on Sept. 27, 2011, at the Venetian Resort∙Hotel∙Casino in Las Vegas. The reception will begin at 6 p.m. and the dinner starts at 7 p.m.

Moore is also the senior economics writer of the Wall Street Journal and has served as a budget and economics expert for the Congressional Joint Economic Committee, Heritage Foundation and Cato Institute. Moore is the author of five books, including “The End of Prosperity: How Higher Taxes Will Doom the Economy — If We Let it Happen.”

“Stephen Moore is one of the nation’s best known economists and a leading voice on behalf of free-market principles,” said NPRI President Sharon Rossie. “From his writings in the Wall Street Journal to his frequent appearances on television and radio shows, he continues to champion the economic ideas that make this country great. We at NPRI are honored to have him deliver the keynote speech at our annual dinner.”
