(Joseph Tatner) – After a year of speaking out for Conservative principles around Las Vegas, including as President of the Voice of the People PAC, I am stepping forward to take on Shelley Berkley in Nevada's Congressional District 1.
I recently filed the necessary paperwork with the FEC and established my bank account for “Tatner Now,” the associated fundraising arm of the campaign. My website www.tatner.com is packed with information: Contract with America 2010, Why I'm Running for Congress, videos of my speeches, position papers and press articles, photos and even a “Fun Stuff” page. You can even hear some of my proposed radio ads at the bottom of the home page.
As always, I stand on the Constitution and the principles of the Founding Fathers and pledge to take back our country, restoring fiscal responsibility and freedom from the alarming government taxes, takeovers and bailouts that are out of control.
I expect a lot of media as I have had great success in getting press coverage for events, so I invite all candidates to make an appearance (please let me know if you are a candidate who will attend so I can include you in the Press Release). We need to work together to sweep the state with Republican victories in 2010.
These are challenging times, but also exciting times, as the American People have risen up to take their rightful place as leaders of the government in numbers we have not seen for decades.
There's a big party going on (in more ways than one) and you're all invited. Some pizza and sodas will be provided, but you are welcome to bring a dish to share of your own, so bring some food or drink, a big smile, and a lot of optimism.

DETAILS: In a location truly fitting for the current Health Care Debate, the party will be held in the empty offices of Family Healthcare Services, Inc., which moved out of Las Vegas. This is also the building where the Nevada Chapter of Americans for Prosperity is located.
