Members of the Democratic Socialists of America, fully committed socialists, are trying to take over Nevada and much of the U.S. in the upcoming general election.
We can’t do much about the rest of the country, but we have an opportunity and an obligation to make sure that candidates trying to implement socialism don’t win their elections here in Nevada.
We’ve always been a very independent state, a state that supports the right of the individual. But some of these candidates are trying to have Nevada join the national effort to force socialism on the U.S.
A card-carrying member of the Democratic Socialists of America (the DSA), a Vinny Spotleson is running for Nevada’s 41st Assembly District. It’s bad enough that he’s a teacher and brings a left-wing aura to the classroom. Now he wants to contribute to socializing our fiercely independent state. But just how disingenuous is this guy?
Vinny Spotleson didn’t join the DSA years ago and just happened to have his name on an old roster. Vinny joined the DSA and became part of the socialist movement in America earlier this year. He’s a newly minted member of the socialist followers.
He says the criticism that he’s affiliated with the Las Vegas chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America is just an exaggeration. So, what is it that’s an exaggeration of his joining this organization on his own, of his own volition?
No one forced him to sign his name on the dotted line and become part of the anti-capitalist agenda. That was his own choice.
What he does say is that he became a member of the DSA to garner the group’s endorsement. So, how is it that he can’t be seen as a dedicated socialist? He wanted their endorsement. And to say that his wanting their endorsement doesn’t count when it reveals how closely aligned he is with the political left-wing, is in itself disingenuous.
Do you suppose that if a southern Republican candidate accepted the endorsement of a member of the KKK, that wouldn’t indicate his or her belief in what they promote?
That person would rightfully be labeled a racist for palling around with and accepting the endorsement of that overtly racist organization. Well, it turns out that’s not the case. No Republican has sought nor accepted the endorsement of promoters of hate.
But Vinny Spotleson has, by his own admission, sought the endorsement of the socialist hate group that looks to people like Hasan Piker for guidance.
Hasan Piker is a social influencer who has made no secret about his belief that America deserved our 9/11 attack. DSA members across the land look to Piker who praised Mao Tse-Tung and Communist China and who argued that capitalists should be murdered in the streets. Spotleson’s DSA admires a guy like Piker who has spewed a litany of antisemitic comments.
Spotleson joined the DSA to get their endorsement as a fellow traveler of promoting a socialist agenda.
And for those who believe he will only support issues that won’t cost more of your hard-earned tax dollars, just take his own word for it. He’s already said that he wouldn’t want to raise taxes to fund his outlandish ideas, but he would support a “tiny increase in the sales tax.”
You can believe that he will promote any program that works for what the socialists call the “greater good.”
The “greater good” being an action, benefit or moral choice that serves the common interest of the state and well-being of the general public or society as a whole and is often contrasted with individual interests or individual freedom.
Vinny Spotleson joins the ranks of Abdel el-Sayed, Seattle Socialist Mayor Katie Wilson, New York’s socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani and the ubiquitous AOC. Promise voters everything free and then pull the carpet out from under them.
Don’t be fooled.
