(Rudy Pamintuan) – America’s Far Left have pushed to “defund the police,” while creating an environment targeting and demonizing law enforcement officers – empowering criminals and encouraging violence and crime throughout the country.
While Americans seek to replace elected officials in the legislative and executive branches of government with strong conservative candidates who prioritize public safety and the rights of victims, many voters ignore the judicial races that happen at the bottom of the ballot.
What most Americans don’t know is that National Far Left organizations are targeting judicial races with their own recruited candidates who support cashless bail, early-release of violent felons and look to legislate from the bench – versus upholding the Constitution and the laws of the land. If the Far Left can’t get the laws they want – they wish to stack the courts in their favor to create judgements and court opinions that lean in their direction.
In Nevada, Far Left organizations have recruited young liberals – many public defenders, to run in judicial races to take over the courts. Their recruited candidates are trained, groomed and provided with seasoned campaign assistance. Wealthy trial and defense law firms finance their campaigns as deep-pocketed donors know that once elected, the liberal judges they support will be “bendable” – beneficial to their firms’ work and clients.
The current “revolving door” of justice has been the major pivot point which has allowed violent offenders back on the streets – usually committing more crimes while awaiting their next court date – no cash bail, no deterrence.
We need judges who prioritize public safety, focus on the rights of victims and stand firm with the laws of the land. Judges should be Constitutionalists who will be fair – not liberal activists who are anti-police, pro-criminal rights and legislate from the bench.
Before elections, make sure you do your research and vote for the right candidates in the judicial races. A great resource is the Nevada Republican Club (I happen to be the current President). The Club is the longest consecutive running Center-Right organization in the State with the largest membership. In preparations to the coming elections, the Club has been reviewing candidate questionnaires and recently conducted interviews with judicial candidates. Let’s make sure that when we work together to win back the State and Nation – we not only elect great candidates for the Legislative and Executive branches, but we also make sure that strong Constitutionalists are elected to serve throughout the judiciary.
