Libtards sure can come up with some goofy conspiracy theories of their own.
The latest – a column inked by left-wing activist Hugh “Jackass” Jackson and published by the Nevada Current – suggests that some Democrats are quietly supporting the re-election of Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo as way to keep President Donald Trump and ICE from coming into Nevada the way they have in blue states.
Mr. Jackass wrote:
“There’s a theory — perhaps you’ve heard it — that says Donald Trump hasn’t launched chaos-creating over-the-top militarized deportation tactics in Nevada, as he has in Minnesota, for a couple reasons:
-
- It would upset the casino-hotel industry and harm Nevada’s tourism-based economy.
- It would put Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo in a tough spot in an election year.
“Yes, hordes of horrifyingly incompetent and untrained thugs have not been deployed to manufacture mayhem in Nevada and shoot its citizens, as in Minneapolis. So far. . . .
“There’s an election-related corollary to that assumption, a prospect as bizarre as our times, but one that must be mentioned out loud, obnoxious though it may be: A belief that unless Nevada voters elect a Republican governor in 2026, Trump will rain down hell on Nevada in 2027.”
Subtle he’s not. Unhinged, rabid with TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome), he is.
Which brings us to the part where adults clear their throats, look around the room, and ask the obvious question: What in the hell is this clown talking about?
His entire argument rests on a cartoonish premise: that President Trump is roaming the country like some comic-book villain, randomly “invading” states he doesn’t like with stormtroopers, execution squads, and Jack-booted goons firing into crowds for sport.
That hasn’t happened. Not in Minnesota. Not anywhere.
This isn’t commentary. It’s left-wing fan fiction. And bad fan fiction at that.
Here’s the boring, inconvenient truth Mr. Jackass carefully avoids:
Immigration enforcement is federal law. Enforcing it isn’t “chaos.” It isn’t “authoritarianism.” It isn’t fascism.
It’s the government doing the job it’s supposed to do.
Trump didn’t invent immigration law. He didn’t invent ICE. He didn’t invent deportation.
He just decided the laws on the books ought to be enforced – regardless of obstruction and interference by radicalized protestors and Democrat elected officials.
And that’s what really sends people like Mr. Jackass into convulsions.
Now let’s talk about Gov. Lombardo, because this is where the goofball columnist’s logic really face-plants.
Mr. Jackass wants you to believe Lombardo is some kind of submissive footstool, cowering in the corner while Trump snaps his fingers.
That’s laughable on its face to anyone who’s spent five minutes paying attention to Nevada politics.
Joe Lombardo isn’t winning friends in Carson City by “submitting.” He’s winning enemies by vetoing bad bills. A lot of them.
Bills that jack up taxes, grow government, weaken public safety, and make Nevada less livable.
Mr. Jackass mocks Lombardo’s veto record because it’s the one thing Lombardo is supremely good at: Stopping Democrat insanity.
And that’s his real sin here.
The idea that Lombardo is secretly shielding Nevada from some imaginary federal invasion isn’t just stupid. It’s backwards.
Nevada hasn’t turned into a circus because Lombardo hasn’t rolled over and let the far Left run wild.
The Jackass column isn’t a warning. It’s a tantrum.
A tantrum because Trump is president again. A tantrum because Lombardo keeps winning veto fights. A tantrum because voters keep rejecting the Left’s scare tactics.
So Mr. Jackass cranks the dial all the way to “dictator,” “occupation,” “emergency powers,” and “cancel elections” – hoping fear will do what facts can’t.
It’s the same routine every time. If Republicans win, democracy is “over.” If voters disagree with the Left, they’re “submitting.” If laws are enforced, it’s “authoritarianism.”
And if you don’t buy any of it, you’re a bootlicker.
Here’s the truth Mr. Jackass doesn’t want Nevadans to think through:
Trump isn’t threatening Nevada. Lombardo isn’t cutting secret deals. And voters aren’t being held hostage.
What Nevada Democrats fear isn’t a paramilitary occupation. It’s accountability. It’s borders. It’s law enforcement. It’s a governor who says “no.”
And that’s why Mr. Jackass has to invent monsters. Because if this election is about reality, policy, and results, his side loses.
So spare us the melodrama. This isn’t a stickup. It isn’t a hostage situation. And it sure as hell isn’t a dictatorship.
It’s an election.
And the only thing truly unhinged here is the desperation of libtards like Mr. Jackass who know voters are slipping out of their grip.
