URGENT: It’s On! Conserva-Cruise News Update…

URGENT: It’s On! Conserva-Cruise News Update…
N&V Staff
March 27, 2022

(Chuck Muth) – For those of you who had booked to join us on Citizen Outreach’s 2020 Carnival Cruise to Mexico, which got cancelled during the “15 Days to Slow the Spread” fiasco, here’s what you have to do BY THURSDAY…

Everyone who got cancelled automatically received an onboard credit of up to $600 per cabin.  However, in order to keep that onboard credit, you have to re-book for a future cruise by March 31st.

Now the problem we’ve been having with re-booking is that some in our group have opted NOT to get the COVID vaccine – and for now, Carnival is still requiring it to travel with them.

BUT…that’s expected to change sometime, hopefully, in the near future.  So…

Since so many of us are champing at the bit to set sail again, and since we have to make a decision in the next few days, I went ahead and scheduled the next ConservaCruise for this coming November.

The dates are November 12-19, 2022…which will be just four days after Republicans take back Congress!

And instead of celebrating my “almost-qualified-for-Medicare” birthday, we’ll be celebrating my daughter Jenna’s 21st birthday…which will be a LOT more fun!

Now, if for some reason the vax mandate is still in place in November, we can again re-book for a later date as long as we travel before September 2023, subject to a $50 per person fee.  But you won’t lose your shipboard credit.

Lastly, if you can’t make November, you can still get a full refund of what you paid for the cancelled cruise if you request it by March 31, 2022.  Otherwise, what you paid will remain on account and you can use it anytime in the future for a different cruise.

Sorry for the complications and confusion.  But don’t blame me.  Blame Biden and the CDC!

AND…if you weren’t scheduled to join us for the cancelled cruise but would like to join our post-election fun cruise in November, we’d love to have you!

And by the way, the average temperature in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta in November is in the mid-80’s…so definitely bring your Speedos!

If you have any questions or want to book or re-book to join us in November, please call our new cruise coordinator, Karla Mueller, at (305) 599-2600 ext. 82968.  Or via email: kmueller@carnival.com

Recommendations ‘22

Although there are still a couple of days to go before the deadline for candidates to withdraw from the races they’ve filed for – and a number should – there are a few races I can already list as personally recommended…with the caveat that June 14 is still a long way away and recommendations are subject to change as circumstances warrant.
