(Danny Tarkanian) – Establishment politician Michael Roberson, apparently running out of PACS and LOBBYISTS to fund his quest for promotion, has launched a misleading mail-order solicitation campaign to fund his struggling efforts.
A few years ago, when Roberson moved to Nevada and ran for public office and he promised the Republican voters of Nevada that he was a conservative. He signed the NO TAX PLEDGE and promised to govern within the State’s current budget.
Nevertheless, ROBBER-son went to Carson City and stole from each and every one of his constituents, voting not once, not twice, not even three times for tax increases, but voting FOR EVERY TAX BILL that came before him in the last legislative session, including the largest tax increase in state’s history, similar to the one voted down by 80% of Nevada voters in the last election.
In addition, as the Majority Leader in the State Senate ROBBERson refused to allow a vote requiring a Photo ID to be shown at the polls before someone could vote, he refused to allow a vote to require a minor child to notify her parents before she has an abortion, he refused to allow a vote to allow college students with a concealed weapons permit to carry a gun on campus, he refused to allow a vote to revise the Public Retirement System, Collective Bargaining or Prevailing Wages (which increases the cost of public works 20-30%), in short, he refused to allow a vote on any real meaningful conservative legislation.
Now he wants a promotion and is asking you to help him. In his mail solicitation, he brags that he got things done in the legislature. Well, it is easy to get things done when you give the other side EVERYTHING THEY WANT. He claims the Reid Machine is attacking him, when in reality they are boosting his candidacy every chance they get. Political pundit Steve Sibelius tweeted that the Democrats couldn’t find a candidate to run in CD 3. Liberal pundit, Hugh Jackson, responded, “Yes they did. They have Michael Roberson.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
