Wake Up To The People’s Republic of America
NN&V Exclusive
(Dr. Annette Teijeiro) – I know I may be preaching to the choir, but information is always valuable, and creeping incrementalism sometimes falls under the radar until it is too late. With this in mind, we must be aware of what the secular progressives are doing to indoctrinate the masses, so take a glass of wine or practice your relaxation exercises and try not to have your blood pressure skyrocket as you look at the following examples. And share your reactions with me once you have viewed the content.
Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada’s website: planevada.org
Here is their attack on the State Legislators who proposed any voter identification laws:
The most interesting part of their argument is the lack of evidence they present for their staunch assertions that proposed voter identification laws will suppress the right to vote and that there is NO evidence of voter fraud. How they can say this with a straight face when ACORN was caught and prosecuted for fraudulent voter registration in Las Vegas, Nevada is beyond the pale. Not one single example of a real person who fits this no photo identification profile was provided.
Who are these American citizens who walk around with no government issue photo identification, and how do they function in our society? How do they open a bank account, rent a home, identify themselves to an employer, a hospital, a caregiver, gamble in a casino, formulate an understanding of candidates or issues for elections, etc…? Do any of you know someone who fits this profile?
Here is another interesting thing they overlook in their supposed quest to defend the “poor” people, why should the federal government require its residents to show a valid form of government issued photo identification to travel? Nothing in our US Constitution states that in order to travel within the United States you should be required to show government issued photo identification.
In fact, quite the contrary. States are prohibited from inhibiting free movement from state to state. Are we not preventing these “poor” people from their “right” to travel freely within the United States? Mum is the word on this issue by the secular progressive statist. What hypocrisy! We should defend their right to vote without government issued photo identification, but they cannot travel freely within the United States without government issued photo identification.
Does anyone else feel that this type of government control on domestic travel 24/7 for 365 days of the year violates our freedom more than the one day of annual voting, at best? (We are assuming that although they have no photo identification, they are “super” voters to boot.)
If the premise is that, in order to keep us safe on airplanes, we have to comply with the invasive search of our bodies and belongings, then why go further than the search? Why on earth, if you and your luggage are physically searched for air travel safety, should you also provide government issued photo identification to be allowed to board? Most of us pre-issue our boarding pass at home via the Internet confirmation numbers process, but who cares about the name on the ticket as long as you are found safe (unarmed and explosive free).
Is this not an invasion of your “privacy” to make us prove our identity to allow us to travel to anywhere in the contiguous United States? Is it anyone’s business how many times you board a plane if you carry no dangerous or illegal materials by TSA standards?
What about our constitutional 14th Amendment, Section 1, where no State shall deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law? Can’t we travel without government scrutiny? Have we become the Peoples’ Republic of America,”Let me see your papers!” or else? Look how far have we come in the last 11 years. Would anyone have predicted this would so easily happen in a “free” country, in the USA?
For all their righteous indignation regarding voter identification laws, it is amazing how the secular progressives have no problems with travelers rights being restricted and that our military ballots being ignored or selectively invalidated while they comfortably use the words “privacy” to defend murder of an unborn, “poor” to defend voter fraud, “compassion” to defend illegal invasions by foreigners, “equality” to defend same-sex marriage, “progressive” to describe oppressive government regulations, etc…
We must wake up and present common sense facts to these ludicrous arguments by these elitist statists. The time for being quiet is over! The secular progressives are destroying our freedoms day by day. Keep in mind that all this has happened during our lifetime. Solutions, suggestions and comments are always welcome.
