(Robert Kessler) – Bay, I’m really glad that I’m not a Democrat. I just don’t know what I’d do.
First, President Barack Obama and Secretary John Kerry both told Democrats in Congress that the Iranian deal was going to be good for the country. And good for Israel. No Iranian nukes for 10 years, maybe 15. Harry Reid supported their effort. And Democrats were promised that any agreement with Iran would first have to be blessed by Congress before it was presented to the United Nations. All we had to do was give the President authority to negotiate the deal and everything would be all right.
Now we find out that President Obama and John Kerry may have struck a bad deal, and already have gone to the UN, while Congress still is mulling over the agreement. Oh, yeah. Did I mention that there’s a couple of secret parts to the agreement involving the UN that neither John Kerry nor Congress have seen?
Meanwhile, the Ayatollahs are doing a Happy Dance and still chanting “Death to Israel” and “Death to the United States.”
What’s a Democrat to do? This is a tough one. Would I vote with my Party? How would I explain this to my constituents? Boy, I’m really glad I’m not a Democrat.
