Nevada Voters: Here’s How to Ditch Your Mail Ballot Before It’s Too Late

You can opt out of receiving a mail ballot and vote in person instead… Nevada voters have a choice.

(Ellen Gifford) – The Nevada Revised Statute NRS 293.269911, Section 2, states:

“The county clerk shall allow a voter to elect not to receive a mail ballot pursuant to this section by submitting to the county clerk a written notice in the form prescribed by the county clerk which must be received by the county clerk not later than 60 days before the day of the election.”

The form prescribed is EL-B22-25 and it must be received by your County Clerk no later than September 4, 2026.

You are instructed to submit your completed form to your County Clerk. You can download, complete, and print the form. Don’t forget to keep a copy for yourself.

If you choose to opt out of receiving a mail ballot and vote in person instead, you are encouraged to complete this form and submit it to your county clerk as soon as possible… September 4th is right around the corner.
