AD41 Race Heats Up as Arroyo Steps Into the Spotlight

Rafael Arroyo is kicking off his run for Nevada Assembly District 41 by gathering friends, neighbors, and supporters for a hometown-style fundraiser.

The event takes place Wednesday, December 3rd at 6 p.m. at the Bootlegger Bistro on Las Vegas Boulevard, one of the longest-running family spots in the valley.

Arroyo, a small-business-minded conservative, says he’s running because families in District 41 are tired of rising costs, crowded schools, and a state government that keeps making life harder instead of easier.

His message has been catching attention in the south valley, especially among parents and local business owners who want more common sense in Carson City.

The campaign says the fundraiser is meant to be a friendly, relaxed way for people to get to know Rafael in person.

Suggested contributions for the event range from $41 to $1,000, following the usual Nevada grassroots format where supporters give what they can. Checks can be made out to Rafael Arroyo for Assembly, and donations can also be made online for those who can’t attend in person.

The Bootlegger Bistro, a longtime local favorite, has become a popular venue for political kickoffs. It’s an easy place for candidates to meet voters face-to-face and share what they want to do for the state.

For conservatives in particular, momentum has been building as many voters feel this upcoming cycle is a chance to shift the Assembly closer to balance.

Arroyo is expected to speak about education, public safety, and economic growth. He wants Nevada to be affordable, and to protect families from policies that drive up costs.

District 41 voters have been outspoken about everything from school overcrowding to traffic issues to concerns about crime along the I-215 corridor.

With the 2026 election cycle already heating up, Arroyo’s kickoff is an early sign that Republicans in Clark County are organizing sooner rather than later.

Local conservatives have been pushing for candidates who can connect with voters on a human level, not just follow party talking points. Arroyo is hoping he fits that mold.
