DeLisle, a Nevada Businessman and Dental Anesthesiologist, raises over $100,000 on his first report

Las Vegas, NV – Local businessman, child and special needs advocate, and dental anesthesiologist—Dr. Steven DeLisle— revealed today that after much urging, he has decided to run for Nevada Assembly District 29.  DeLisle, who owns 14 clinics in three Nevada counties, has received public endorsements from Republican Assemblyman and Co-Deputy Leader for the South Tom Roberts, State Senator Scott Hammond, Las Vegas City Councilwomen Victoria Seaman, and Las Vegas Mayor Pro Tem Michele Fiore.

“It is my great pleasure to endorse Steven Delisle for Assembly District 29,” said Roberts. “Steven has already given Nevada so much having served our children and the special needs community.  I am thrilled he has decided to run for the Nevada Assembly and look forward to working with Steven and his wife Christine and doing everything we can to win this important seat back.”

Dr. DeLisle has committed over $100,000 to his own campaign, which is more than the Republican nominee in the seat raised during the entire last campaign cycle.  Steven hopes to use his vast resources to help Republicans up and down the ballot in 2020.  Delisle is thankful for the endorsements he has received from Assemblyman Roberts, Senator Hammond, and Councilwomen Fiore and Seaman.

“It is a great honor to receive so much support and urging from Republicans and community leaders,” said DeLisle.  “I look forward to this opportunity and can’t wait to get to work on real reforms that benefit all Nevadans.  As a husband, business owner, and cancer survivor who has seen some of the shortcomings in the healthcare fields and other areas, I want to use my experience to help bring real reform and innovation to Carson City.”

Dr. DeLisle is an accomplished Board Certified Dentist Anesthesiologist, an entrepreneur, innovator, and small businessman. At only 38 years old, he has opened businesses in multiple states, served on a variety of non-profit boards, and has been featured as one of Vegas Inc Magazine’s 40 Under 40. DeLisle has appeared in numerous media publications since founding his first dental clinic in 2009, and his business has now grown to include 14 dental offices across three Nevada counties.

DeLisle built the first Dental Ambulatory Surgical Center in the State of Nevada to help young children and those with special needs and has been heavily involved in helping the special needs community and children in Nevada. DeLisle helped start the dental clinic at Child Haven, which exclusively treats Clark County foster children. He also founded the “Saving Smiles” program, which provides scholarships for treatment to adult special needs patients who lack dental benefits.

DeLisle graduated from the University of Washington dental school and is married to his wife, Christine, of 11 years. After graduating from dental school, he began his anesthesia residency at Loma Linda University, where he treated over 2,000 special needs and pediatric patients under general anesthesia. A firm believer in human rights and civil liberties, DeLisle decided to further his education by pursuing a Constitutional Law degree from Southwestern Law School where he is scheduled to graduate early this year. DeLisle is proud to call Nevada home and is a cancer survivor who is passionate about access to quality healthcare and improving education for our children.
