Fiore: Come shred your blue card

Fiore: Come shred your blue card
Chuck Muth
July 16, 2015

Michele Fiore(Michele Fiore) – Mark your calendars for this Saturday, July 18, because there are a couple of great events happening.

First, my friends at the Nevada Firearms Coalition (NVFAC) have partnered with the National Rifle Association (NRA) to a celebration of defeating Clark County’s elimination of “blue cards”.

This event will be taking place at the New Frontier Armory located at 150 E. Centennial Parkway in North Las Vegas. I have purchased a couple of guns from the New Frontier, and I have nothing but respect for this store and it’s amazing staff. Come join me from, and don’t forget to bring your blue cards to shred and win prizes!

You're invited - Celebration of freedom

Saturday, I will also be hosting 2016 presidential candidate Carly Fiorina at the Bootlegger Italian Bistro Copa Room from 1pm – 3pm. Come join us for a great afternoon full of lively discussion.

I have been meeting almost daily with Nevadans who are concerned about the direction our state is going and the tax hike that passed last month. I am working hard to ensure your voices are being heard. I am confident that in the next election the legislators who turned their backs on the voters will pay the price when they are not reelected.

It’s more important than ever that we have proven conservatives and job creators in the legislature. It is beyond evident that the legislators who would vote to increase this tax sign the back of a paycheck, not the front.

There are more than just legislative reelection campaigns on the horizon. The 2016 presidential candidates have slowly started taking over the headlines. As the contenders make their way around the States to meet with voters, I would like to encourage everyone to go out and meet with these potential representatives. It is important to take advantage of the opportunity to meet face-to-face and gain an understanding of these representative’s running values. In Nevada, we have a unique advantage in that we are an early voter state, and almost every candidate is planning a visit to Las Vegas.

Gov Scott Walker visitYou can track where these contenders are and, more importantly, see when they are planning a visit to Nevada here.

I had the pleasure of attending Governor Scott Walker’s visit to the Red Rock Harley Davidson last Tuesday. We had such a great time, and I have to say that he was a breathe of fresh air.

Joe ArpiaoI visited Arizona last weekend and had the opportunity to meet “America’s Toughest Sheriff”, Joe Arpaio.

I am very excited to see how things unfold for the 2016 presidential candidates and to talk with constituents about their views.
