(Chuck Muth) – Here’s what conservatives have known about Assemblyman Pat “The Appeaser” Hickey (R-Reno) for some time now…

  • He’s a RINO (Republican In Name Only)
  • He has a backbone made of Jell-O
  • He’s a sell-out
  • He runs from fights (unless they’re with conservatives)
  • He was “in the bag” for Gov. Brian Sandoval’s $1.4 billion tax hike from the get-go

Indeed, Hickey’s vote was bought – lock, stock and barrel – before the 2015 Legislature even convened.

The only thing we didn’t know is what the price was.

Now we know.

The Associated Press reported on Tuesday that Sandoval has appointed Hickey – who had already announced he was too chicken to face voters next year and would not run for re-election – to fill a vacancy on the Nevada Board of Education.

The good news is, Hickey has now officially resigned from the Assembly, meaning he can no longer screw Nevada’s taxpayers.

The bad news is, Hickey will now be screwing Nevada’s students instead of Nevada’s taxpayers.

And the beat goes on…
