Governor Joe Lombardo is turning up the volume on his message to Nevadans with a new campaign e-newsletter, the “Team Lombardo Insider Report.”
With Election Day less than a year away, the move signals his intent to go on offense — not just in Carson City but in homes, churches and community halls across the Silver State.
In the launch email, Team Lombardo writes that recipients are “identified as one of our close allies and valued advocates.”
The newsletter promises to share “helpful information, updates and resources to keep you informed and ready to spread our message across Nevada.”
It’s a direct, boots-on-the-ground style approach to mobilize supporters and keep them engaged.
This kind of outreach matters. Government is supposed to serve the people, not clutter lives with endless bureaucracy or media spin.
And here, the newsletter is pitched as a tool to promote just that: greater transparency, better access to talking points for local conversations, and a unified message to fight back against what the campaign calls “Democrats’ fake attacks.”
It also reflects an emphasis on personal responsibility and grassroots engagement.
Rather than expecting centralized control in Carson City, the newsletter invites ordinary Nevadans to take local initiative — sharing posts, engaging neighbors, stepping into community events.
The first volume lists a series of achievements under Lombardo’s watch:
- An estimated $40 million invested to ensure food resources remained available for families during the federal government shutdown.
- Mobilizing the National Guard to help package and transport food supplies in southern Nevada.
- Gaining an endorsement from the Professional Firefighters of Nevada (2,700 members statewide), who praised Lombardo for “showing up, listening and acting.”
- Securing nearly $51 million from the U.S. Department of Education to expand charter school access.
On policy, the newsletter cites cuts to more than 600 regulations, 4 % annual job growth since 2022 (placing Nevada sixth in the nation for employment growth), and a rank of eighth in national business climate surveys.
It also touts a record-setting education investment, double-digit raises for law enforcement, and tougher penalties for fentanyl traffickers.
In each case the narrative is: hold government accountable, ensure public safety, empower families and communities.
Not everyone is on board. Some opponents say Lombardo’s promises have outpaced results, pointing to ongoing issues in housing affordability and education quality.
For example, critics argue the housing access act remains “in progress” rather than finished.
Still, the newsletter offers a chance to set the record straight, highlight wins and engage citizens in monitoring results.
It’s less about fancy rhetoric and more about real-world outcomes: fewer regulations, stronger public safety, more school choice, more opportunity.
It also offers local tools to engage neighbors, spread the word and hold leadership accountable.
In Nevada, where urban growth in Las Vegas and Reno meets rural traditions in Ely and Winnemucca, campaigns often struggle to connect statewide.
This e-newsletter is an attempt to bridge that gap — to bring Carson City’s policy-talk home to kitchen tables, coffee shops and small town main streets.
It underscores that this isn’t just a campaign; it’s a movement to safeguard freedom and opportunity for all Nevadans.
If you believe government should be accountable, that families and communities matter, and that Nevada should be a place of opportunity rather than over-regulation, then this newsletter is something worth watching.
It’s a simple, direct step toward keeping voters engaged and informed — and making sure the voices of everyday Nevadans are heard.
