Suspicious Package Forces Tea Party Debt Commission To Decamp

Suspicious Package Forces Tea Party Debt Commission To Decamp

NN&V Exclusive

(Phil Henry) – Yesterday, 30 minutes before the Tea Party Debt Commission was to deliver its report to the Tea Party Caucuses, the dems denied access to the third floor of the Russell Senate building where the meeting was to be held. The excuse given was a suspicious package had been found on that floor. Yet senators and staffers were allowed to move about the area. Only the general public was restricted by capitol police, and only on that section of the third floor.

Freedom Works moved the meeting to Kirby Hall on the campus ofHillsdaleCollege; however, this caused the loss of coverage on C-Span. It did not deter the Tea Party Caucus Senators and Representatives from attending and lending their support to the effort.

The presentation was attended by over 200 Tea Party supporters from around the eastern seaboard. After formal presentations a question and answer session ensued. The audience was very enthusiastic hearing some of the solutions proposed.

You can read more about the Tea Party Debt Commission report online.
