Last weekend’s FBI and HAZMAT operation in northeast Las Vegas left residents with plenty of unanswered questions.
Police confirmed they found vials of unknown liquids inside a home near East Washington Avenue and North Hollywood Boulevard.
So far, details have been limited.
What has developed is that this Nevada investigation is now being compared to an earlier illegal biolab case in California.
This should be the number 1 story.
“Investigators found thousands of vials of blood and tissue. Genetically engineered mice designed to carry COVID. Tests showed the vials contained COVID, Hepatitis, and Malaria. Investigators linked the lab to the CCP.”

Back in 2022 and 2023, federal investigators uncovered an unlicensed biological lab in Reedley, California. That operation was later tied to Chinese national Jia Bei Zhu.
Inside that facility, authorities reportedly found:
- Thousands of vials containing blood and tissue
- Vials containing dangerous pathogens including COVID, HIV, and malaria
- Genetically engineered mice carrying COVID
- Lab equipment and unlicensed medical devices
Federal prosecutors later charged Zhu with crimes tied to misbranded medical devices and false statements. Congress later launched its own investigation into how such a facility could operate in a quiet neighborhood without being detected.
That California lab wasn’t theoretical. It wasn’t a rumor. It was real.
And it contained materials that could have posed serious public health risks.
That California case is now being widely shared on social media as people wait for answers here at home.
What We Know About Las Vegas So Far
Here in Nevada, the facts remain limited.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation executed search warrants at two homes early Saturday morning.
Inside one residence, officers found refrigerators containing vials of unknown liquids. That discovery prompted a full HAZMAT response, and more than a thousand samples were reportedly sent out for testing.
Sheriff Kevin McMahill told reporters the situation appeared isolated and posed no known threat to the public.
“This is an extremely complex investigation, obviously involving multiple agencies and a tremendous amount of resources,” McMahill said, explaining why the process will take time.
In other words, the Las Vegas case is still very much unresolved.
There Is a Connection
Here’s where the two stories intersect.
Property records show the Las Vegas home is owned by an LLC connected to the same individual involved in the Reedley, California case.
That ownership link is real and has been confirmed by multiple outlets.
But investigators have not said the Vegas location contained pathogens. They have not confirmed it was an illegal biolab. And they have not announced any biological threat tied to the Nevada property.
Those lab tests are still pending.
Why Conservatives Are Paying Attention
Even without confirmed details, a scary picture is being painted.
If illegal labs can operate in residential neighborhoods, whether in California or potentially elsewhere, that’s a public safety problem.
It’s also a national security concern, especially with foreign connections involved in both cases.
We have to wait for full court filings and details before drawing conclusions. That’s fair. Due process matters.
Right now, all we know is this: police found unknown vials, brought in HAZMAT and federal resources, and are working on getting answers.
