Laura McSwain, founder of the Water Fairness Coalition, is a Nevada native and a former Las Vegas planning commissioner. She has spent three years challenging the Southern Nevada Water Authority.
The coalition is backing two lawsuits. One challenges AB 356, the law requiring grass removal. The other targets SNWA's excessive use charges.
