2020 Primary Post-Election Wrap-up

2020 Primary Post-Election Wrap-up
N&V Staff
June 20, 2020

(Chuck Muth) – OK, now that the results are official – pending any recounts and/or lawsuits – here are my observations on some of the 2020 primary races in Nevada.  My highlights…

  • Biggest Winner
  • Biggest Loser
  • Biggest Embarrassment
  • Biggest Turd in the Punchbowl
  • Congressional Districts 3 & 4
  • Assembly Districts 31, 37 & 40
  • University Regent District 3
  • Lyon County Commission
  • Douglas County Commission
  • Clark County School Board A & B

This review and wrap-up is pretty extensive.  So rather than publish it here in the Muth’s Truths’ e-newsletter, I’ve posted it on my blog.  Click here

Help Wanted

There are five competitive State Assembly races on the ballot in the general election.  And all five of the GOP nominees are conservatives who have signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge.  They are…

  • Heidi Kasama, Assembly District 2
  • Richard McArthur, Assembly District 4
  • Jill Dickman, Assembly District 31
  • Andy Matthews, Assembly District 37
  • Steve DeLisle, Assembly District 29

All five face tough races in the fall.  So if you’re looking to help a deserving conservative candidate – either with money or blood, sweat and tears – that’s where the help is most needed.

Unfortunately, there were three wishy-washy Republican incumbents in the Assembly who did not draw a primary challenger – Jill Tolles (District 25 in Washoe), Tom Roberts (District 13 in Clark) and Glen Leavitt (District 23 in Clark).

This is a shame.

All three represent GOP-majority districts and all three have lousy conservative voting records.  While we still have the general election to go this year, conservatives should be looking for candidates to run in 2022 Republican primaries against these three NOW.

Especially against Leavitt.  For a variety of reasons, he’s the worst of the worst.

Now that I’ve helped get rid of AssemblyRINOs James Oscarson and Chris Edwards, Leavitt is next on my hit list.  Lemme know if you know someone who might be interested.

Jon Ralston is a White Supremacist?

Someone going by the name Kimberly Parker Tamlin-Vesper is a self-described “angry feminist” who posted the following on Twitter on Friday…

“Using big words is another form of white supremacy.  Blacks who live in urban areas don’t have the same access to education as whites.  This makes them less smart.  If you feel the need to communicate like you are a thesaurus, you are probably a white supremacist.”

Using big words to make yourself seem smart and try to impress others is the very essence of insecure, thin-skinned Jon Ralston – liberal Nevada blogger and unofficial press secretary to Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak.

FAMOUS LAST WORDS

“We will never have a cultural revolution until we have: (1) GOP leaders with courage. (2) Consumers willing to abstain from things they like in order to hurt Leftist corporations. (3) A tenfold increase in homeschooling. (4) A conservative answer to Hollywood.” – @JesseKellyDC

“This was (former Ambassador John) Bolton’s bet: If he is right and the book does not contain classified information, he [gains publicity and sales]; but if he is wrong, he stands to lose his profits from the book deal, exposes himself to criminal liability, and imperils national security.  Bolton was wrong.” – U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth
