Nevada families don’t need fancy political spin. They know when life costs more, government feels unfair, and trust in leaders is slipping.
That’s why I posted a simple truth today on X about Rep. Susie Lee (D-NV): she raised your taxes, gave freebies to illegal immigrants, and made $3.3 million in stock trades.

Some in Washington may not like blunt talk like that.
Too bad. Nevada voters deserve honesty.
Raised Your Taxes
Working families in Nevada are already stretched thin. Groceries cost more. Gas costs more. Housing costs more. Insurance costs more.
Yet time and again, Democrats like Susie Lee have sided with the spending crowd in Washington.
Massive spending bills helped fuel inflation that hammered family budgets.
When government floods the economy with borrowed money, regular people pay the price at the checkout line.
That hidden tax is still a tax.
Lee has also opposed Republican efforts aimed at broader tax relief and economic growth.
Instead of trusting workers and small businesses, she has backed the same big-government approach that keeps squeezing the middle class.
Nevadans feel it every day.
Gave Freebies to Illegal Immigrants
No country can survive without borders.
Yet Washington politicians keep rewarding illegal entry while citizens struggle to get basic services.
Taxpayer-funded benefits, housing assistance, transportation programs, legal aid, and other public resources have all become part of the immigration debate.
Meanwhile, Nevada schools are crowded. Hospitals are strained. Roads need repair. Police departments need support.
Citizens should come first. Legal immigrants who followed the rules should come first.
Instead, Susie Lee has supported policies that send the message that breaking immigration law comes with benefits.
That’s backward, unfair, and expensive.
Made $3.3 Million in Stock Trades
Americans are tired of watching members of Congress play by a different set of rules.
Reports in 2021 found Susie Lee failed to properly disclose more than 200 stock transactions with a total value reaching as high as $3.3 million under federal reporting ranges.
Her office said advisers handled many of the trades and there was no intentional wrongdoing.
But here’s the bigger point.
Why are members of Congress trading individual stocks at all while writing laws that affect markets, industries, taxes, and regulation?
Even if legal, it looks wrong. It erodes trust. And trust is already in short supply.
Public service should be about serving the public, not serving yourself.
Why This Matters in Nevada
Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District is full of hardworking people who just want a fair shot.
They want lower costs. They want secure borders. They want honest government.
They don’t want more excuses from career politicians who vote one way in Washington and talk another way back home.
Susie Lee’s defenders will say criticism is unfair. They’ll say everything has context. That’s what politicians always say when voters notice the results.
But results matter. Higher costs matter. Broken borders matter. Public trust matters.
That’s why I say Nevada deserves better. And it does.
