MUTH’S TRUTHS

Dave Flippo is the GOP nominee for Nevada’s 2nd congressional district.

He won it by running a dishonest, scorched-earth, gutter-level campaign against former State Sen. James Settelmeyer.

And a lot of northern Nevada Republicans aren’t happy about it.

Many are saying they’ll vote for the Democrat candidate in the general election. Here’s just one example from a post-election social media post:

“I will happily vote for the Democrat from Reno over a carpetbagger from (expletive deleted) Vegas who uses campaign money to pay rent on his temporary Reno dwelling.”

This poses a real problem for Republicans. Not just in CD2, but up and down the ballot.

And it doesn’t help that one of Flippo’s top (dumbass) consultants, Woody “Peckerhead” Johnston, is STILL insulting such voters.

Somebody needs to get this clown a copy of “How to Win Friends and Influence People.”

Anyway, I wrote all about this, in detail, in my private Silver State Confidential “insider” e-newsletter (subscription: $299/year) on Saturday . . . including a little advice (“Don’t Pull a Tarkanian”) for those who can’t bring themselves to flip over to Flippo for the general.
