Nevada’s Next Conservative Candidates Are Getting Ready Now

Posted By

On Saturday, February 7, 2026, the Leadership Institute is hosting a Candidate Development Workshop in Las Vegas.

It’s designed specifically for conservatives who want more than dusty political theory.

What This Workshop Is

The Candidate Development Workshop is a full-day, candidate-focused training.

It’s built around the real challenges campaigns face once the filing papers are signed and the scrutiny starts.

Whether you’re exploring a run, already planning one, or part of a campaign team, this workshop walks through what winning campaigns do – and what losing campaigns wish they’d done earlier.

Who You’ll Learn From

One of the strengths of this workshop is the faculty lineup, which blends campaign training with real-world experience:

  • Stephanie Hage, Regional Director, Leadership Institute

  • Holly Horn, Legislative Leaders Program, Leadership Institute

  • Matt Shupe, Founder, Praetorian Public Relations

Topics That Matter in the Real World

Attendees will cover practical, campaign-tested topics, including:

  • Launching Your Campaign the right way

  • Filming Campaign Content on a Budget that still looks professional

  • Crisis Communications, including how to handle bad or misleading information

  • On-Camera Media Training, available to candidates

  • Additional advanced and candidate-focused content

If you previously attended the Nevada Conservative Campaign School (or wish you had), this workshop builds on that foundation with new topics and more advanced material.

Who Should Attend

Despite the name, this workshop isn’t just for candidates.

It’s also for:

  • Campaign managers and strategists

  • Campaign volunteers who want to be more effective

  • Spouses of candidates

  • Local conservative activists considering a future run

In short, anyone who wants to understand how campaigns actually work – not how people wish they worked.

Why This Matters for Nevada

Nevada elections are competitive, expensive, and unforgiving.

Small mistakes get magnified. Bad messaging spreads fast.

And candidates who aren’t prepared often learn lessons the hard way.

This workshop is designed to shorten that learning curve and help conservatives step into races prepared, confident, and organized.
