One parent, Jennifer Campbell, said the district's use of i-Ready – an online reading and math program – pushed her over the edge. She says her kids lost their love of learning because of it.
“My oldest will be 19 in a couple weeks, 17, 15, and 13, and they've all really struggled through i-Ready and standardized testing, and just kind of lost a passion for learning and motivation… My two younger kids will be attending school in Irvine now.”
