(NN&V Staff) – Saying that she wants to bring common sense and a positive future to the people of Nevada, Robin Reedy announced she is running for Assembly District 39.

“I have lived in this district for 25 years. I raised my family here and worked to improve the lives of the people in this district as well as the State of Nevada. My vision for Nevada and AD 39 is a prosperous economic future by creating a climate in which businesses can grow without undue government interference. Good government is possible and small government is best,” Reedy emphasized.

Reedy has more than 20 years of successful experience in state government, capping off her public service career by serving as Chief of Staff for Governor Jim Gibbons. Her accomplishments lie in the field of fiscal efficiency as well as bringing diverse groups together to reach a consensus.

“The people of my district deserve a representative who will actively communicate with all of them, listen to their ideas and effectively work within the system to create a better future. I will work to improve the economy, increase jobs and deal with the tough issues that face education and health care.” she said.

Reedy has been running her own small business for the past 3 years. She was approached by a number of people who asked her to run for the AD 39 office.

“I love this district: its rolling ranch and farm lands, the towering mountains surrounding us, the people who are hard-working, creative and kind. I would be honored to represent them and intend be the kind of representative of whom they can also be proud” she concluded.
